Temporary Family-Based Visas

Fiancé Visa (K-1)

  • Purpose: Allows a U.S. citizen to bring their foreign fiancé(e) to the United States for marriage.
  • Eligibility: The U.S. citizen must file a petition on behalf of their fiancé(e). Both parties must be legally free to marry and intend to marry within 90 days of arrival.
